Announcements for September 13, 2026

• Sunday Service at 11:30am at the Spring Creek building.

• Regular service next Sunday, 9/20 in the sanctuary (not chapel) instead of house church.

Looking Ahead:

• Back to Campus event, this Tuesday the 15th, at 6pm at Penn State Harrisburg! Volleyball, pizza and devo! All are welcome to join.

• Men, mark your calendars for the rescheduled men (and boys) campout. This is scheduled for the weekend of September 25-27. More details to come. Women will be meeting by house church. Times and locations will be posted.

• We will have our annual service and tailgate on Sunday, October 11.

• Married couples! Mark your calendar for a Marriage workshop after church on November 1st.

• Mark your calendar for the Christmas Banquet, Saturday December 19th. More details to come.

• Looking way ahead, there is a Women’s Retreat in State College, April 16-18, 2027. The theme is “We are — loved, connected, free”. More info about accommodations and registration can be found here: https://gpcc.breezechms.com/form/9d9c77

Bible Discussions:

• The Tuesday daytime women’s Bible discussion has started back up for the fall.

• Panera Bibletalks: Camphill meets on Tuesdays at 7pm, Hummelstown on Thursdays at 7 pm. There is no Lancaster BT for the summer at this time.

Giving:

We are still collecting for our Special Missions. This is an opportunity to set aside or raise money in addition to our normal contribution to meet the needs of our special missions for camp, locally, and Cambodia. Last year we collected over $16,600! We’d love to collect at least $20,000, by faith, to give to El Salvador this year, as well. Please choose the “Special Missions” drop down if giving online, or notate on the memo section if giving by check.

• Prayers for Brian Robbins who is having surgery on September 18th.

• Prayers for Anna’s baby cousin Waylen who is going through some health challenges right now. Prayers the family can get answers.

• Prayers for John Moore’s wife, Linda, who is going through health challenges at this time.

• Prayers for our college students and kids as they head back to school.

• Please keep Miriam Schrock in prayer as she undergoes radiation treatment in the coming weeks.

• Prayers Michelle Pratt’s/Davina’s dad as he deals with health challenges.

• Continued prayers for Dan O’Kane’s eyesight as it was severely damaged somehow as he was dealing with treatment for the infection in his leg.
