Announcements for June 7, 2026

• This week’s service is at 11:30am at the church building.

• There is a going away party for the Madeiras today at 6:30pm at the Geeting Sr.’s house. 6545 Parkway E, Harrisburg.

Looking Ahead:

• Camp registration closes soon! Sign up for 3rd-12th graders, or to be a volunteer. There is still a need for volunteers for teen camp. We don’t want cost to be a factor for those who want for go. There is also an option to attend a day-camp instead of overnight.

• Campstock is next Saturday at camp. It is a time of worship, supporting brothers and sisters as they share their talents and raise money for camp, and fellowship. RSVP on the camp website.

• Camp is also hosting a luncheon from 11am-1pm on Friday, June 26, to thank those who have shown support, and to invite those who’d like to check out what camp is all about. An invite was posted on Band. If you’d like to come, please RSVP.

• Save the date! Nate and Rute will be back in PA to visit in August, and would like to invite folks to celebrate their recent marriage after service on Sunday, August 8, at Memorial Lake State Park. More details to come.

Bible Discussions:

• Panera Bibletalks: Camphill meets on Tuesdays at 7pm, Hummelstown on Thursdays at 7 pm. There is no Lancaster BT for the summer at this time.

Giving:

We are starting to collect for our Special Missions. This is an opportunity to set aside or raise money in addition to our normal contribution to meet the needs of our special missions for camp, locally, and Cambodia. Last year we collected over $16,600! We’d love to collect at least $20,000, by faith, to give to El Salvador this year, as well. Please choose the “Special Missions” drop down if giving online, or notate on the memo section if giving by check.

Prayers:

• Prayers for Lenny, Randy’s friend, who recently had surgery.

• Lacy’s nephew, 4 month old Stetson-praise, he is doing much better since his heart surgery.

• Prayers for Nancy Soto, friend/neighbor of Zalika, who is recovering from surgery.

• Carolyn Antonetty’s dad who is dealing with congestive heart failure and A fib. He is home, so that is a praise.

• Continued prayers for Dan O’Kane’s recovery from surgery to address an infection in his leg.

• John Moore, who was recently diagnosed with thyroid cancer. He will be having surgery June 19th to remove it. Prayers for an effective and safe surgery.

Prayers of comfort for those who have recently lost loved ones:

• Maddie Kirsch and family on the passing of her grandfather.

• John Towolawi and family on the passing of his uncle.
